Melon's socioeconopolitics

After internally debating the variety of positions covering the state of affairs in US politics and economics, I was tempted to sit down and outline a rational, thoughtful, apolitical, prudent, sensible, spartan, reasonable position on government, freedom, economics, and such.  But, I went for a run instead.  I did however later read this about when Alma became the first judge after King Mosiah.

...in their prosperous circumstances, they did not send away any who were naked, or that were hungry, or that were athrist, or that were sick, or that had not been nourished; and they did not set their hearts upon riches; therefore they were liberal to all, both old and young, both bond and free, both male and female, whether out of the church or in the church, having no respect to persons as to those who stood in need.

OK maybe I will get socioeconopolitico -- what? no pics?

Truly a time to lament the passing of Arnold Friburg.
